The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapy using Cognitive Therapy, behavior alteration and rational emotive behavior therapy combined together to treat various kinds of disorders. CBT can help people in changing how you think and what you do. This helps them to feel better. Instead of going deeper in your past history of the illness it works towards changing your behavior and feeling in the present time. It is most effective in anxiety or depression problem, for moderate and severe depression.

The CBT can be ineffective where people feel uncomfortable to talk about their feelings related to depression, shame, anxiety or anger. If someone is feeling low and is not able to concentrate then it could be tough for him to get CBT treatment at first.
