The Sequoia center is licensed through the state of California Department of alcohol and drug rehab programs. The Sequoia center is a free standing adult alcohol and drug recovery center. They provide 12 step recovery philosophy with principles from cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic models. The center works closely with the Behavioral Medicine clinic Peninsula. They provide state of art, addiction, psychiatric, and chronic pain consultation, detoxification and on going medical management to the patients. They use their all effort with individual addict to give him happy life.

Clients requiring detoxification are medically treated and supervised by the multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologist, nurses and licensed social worker. Residential treatment of center is highly structured treatment program for recovery of drug addict person. Each client assigns a manger who follows the progress of the client.
They provide behavioral therapies such as yoga, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, mindfulness skills training, stress reduction and other recovery program. The length of stay depends upon the addiction type and offered treatment program. Day treatment program is of six days in a week. The program allows a patient to live at home or sober living environment.
They provide educational lectures, multifamily and big book study groups to their patients. They provide Family workshop, family process group and education program to client’s families also to understand the harmful affects of drug addiction. They provide nutritional supplements to their client to enjoy the program. After successful completion of program they provide their clients continuing care to obtain complete drug free life.
